Wonderful Family…

 

This is such a wonderful family. I know them personally through church so it was fun to photograph them! It was a beautiful sunny morning but it was WINDY! So we had to be patient and snap images in between wind bursts. Photographing kids can always be a challenge…often times having their picture taken (especially at this age) is the LAST thing they want to do. So its important not to get frustrated and just go with the flow….which often times involves following them around while they do their own thing. I think we had a fun time overall and got some good images of them!

Family of Seven!!!

This was a fun and busy shoot! I went to the family’s home to shoot these so it was a very casual setting. They have 5 children, some who LOVED to be photographed and others who wanted nothing to do with the camera. It was fun and I think I may have broken a sweat chasing them around! The littlest guy was my biggest challenge…being a busy toddler, sitting still for the camera was the last thing on his agenda. I improvised (which you often have to do with kids) and just followed him around and snapped him in “his element”!

Oh Sweet Boy…

I love this little guy so much!! He is the  new baby boy of our dear friends. I had the honor and privilege of not only shooting his newborn pics, but being there to document his birth. I can only explain it as “Incredible”. Seriously the most amazing thing I have ever been a part of. Life is beautiful! So here he is sweet as can be…

 

Twins!!!

I am part of an online forum for mom’s of multiples. There are not many of us in CA and only 1 other gal in my area. We finally met up and I got a chance to take some pics of her twins. These 2 are just so adorable and so much fun! B is full of spunk and J is such a little man. This was the first set of twins (outside of my own) that I have photographed, so that was fun. I brought my girls along so they could all meet. the last pic is all 6 of us!

First Baby…

I met this couple through a friend and they were expecting their first little one! They decided to not find out what they were having! We had a great time during their shoot.

Dear Friends…

I mentioned this couple before on my blog, they are dear friends. I took pics of them for Christmas and she was just starting to “show”! I was so excited to do her maternity pics! She is absolutely glowing. There is a very special little baby boy “cooking” in her belly and we all can’t wait to meet him! We had a great time wandering around the city taking shots! Love you guys and thank you for letting me capture this special moment.
